Spring in Swing!

It’s time to mark your calendars for the 15th annual Celebration of Craft!

Saturday, April 6  • 10am-5pm • Free Admission

Each year the Craft Center celebrates our place in Tennessee craft, and this event supports our educational outreach programs, sponsored by the Friends of the Appalachian Center for Craft of Tennessee (FACCT). We will have mini-workshops, music, food, and the studios will be open for all to see. Visit the Craft Center’s Celebration webpage for more information.

Now’s the time to start looking into our summer workshop schedule.

Weekend workshops:
• May 10-12: Color Explosion! 60 Ways to Dye – Laura Sims
• June 21-23: Mixed Media Quilting – Jess Jones
• July 19-21: Making Paper with Decorative Surfaces – Claudia Lee
• Aug 9-11: Handles and Rims for Basket Makers – Bobby Edwards

Week-long workshops:
• May 19-24: Weaving & Dyeing: Using Color with Confidence! – Kathrin Weber
• July 7-12: Dyeing to Spin! – Jeanne Brady & Claudia Lee
• July 28 – Aug 2: Explore and Experiment (bookmaking) – Sandy Webster
